Using Multiple Desktops Getting Started Guide 77 A submenu appears listing the available Desktops. 3. Choose a Desktop from the submenu. The window moves to that Desktop. (Depending on where you move it to, the window may not be visible on your current Desktop.) To change the number of available Desktops: 1. On the KDE main menu, choose Settings|Applications|Panel. The KPanel configuration dialog box appears. NOTE: You can also use the KDE Control Panel to access this dialog box. Choose KDE Control Center on the main menu, then choose Applications|Panel in the list of options. 2. Choose the Desktops tab (see Figure 40). Move the Visible slider to the right to increase the number of Desk- tops that are active. 4. Choose Apply to apply your selection and close the dialog box. 5. The number of Desktops shown in the Panel is updated. To rename the KDE Desktops: 1. Open the KPanel configuration dialog box by choosing Set- tings|Applications|Panel on the main menu. 2. Choose the Desktops tab. 3. Click in any Desktop field name and enter a new name.
